FOREWORD
Almost 10 years ago, I started writing a blog, www.nouglyduckling.com. I initially started it because I wanted my college roommate Janine, who is one of my very best friends and is always in the know of what is cool and cutting edge, to help me write it and share her secrets and insights. Unfortunately, she became too busy with both personal and work commitments. Since I had already established the platform, I decided to continue without her and thus my blog began.
Through the years, doing that blog has confirmed my love of writing which I’ve always known since childhood. For me, nothing sorts out my thoughts more clearly.
So, I write and write and write all the time. Not one day goes by that I do not write. Of course, I write for my marketing clients, but I also write for my family, my friends, and myself.
So now, here is my biggest writing undertaking to date. It came about because my dear friend Angie suggested that I should start telling people how I maintain my youthful looks and attitude. This suggestion comes after countless people have also asked me about the same.
Initially, I was hesitant to do this because I really never think about my age: 49.
