Here I am living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming thinking, “What can I tell you about my life, and my own experiences? At 84, I am over read on the subject of self-help information. Self-awareness, and being, or becoming more aware of our own behavior, as it relates to ourselves and others, is where my thinking and doing takes me. I’m about moving forward, for acknowledging to addressing today’s problems, and what we can do to make a difference. It’s important! Forget about my education, etc. That’s not what’s going on here. It’s about your life, and what you are going to do with it. At this point, I am only the messenger, offering solutions to the current drug and suicide crisis among our young people, in today’s world; with a pathway to follow. B. With the suicides and opioid deaths increasing, what solutions are being offered to address this crisis? B. Louise Bayer has developed a concept to bring attention to this lack of self-worth among our young people in today’s world.
Taming the Wild Horses
is what Louise has come up with, as a tool, for communication to connect us to our kids. The horses being the temptations our kids are having to deal with.
What’s happening, or not happening to address this crisis? Solutions are needed. Louise and her horses have created a pathway for living a more productive and meaningful way. Her focus being on ages eleven to twenty-two. She believes bringing to light a healthy self-image should begin early in a child’s life.
Most of us believe and want our children to have good feelings about themselves; but wanting or needing isn’t enough for Louise. It’s in the doing
that makes the connection happen. The process for taming the wild horses is where the tools become available for us to communicate with our kids, according to Louise.
What Louise is offering here is a process to confront this on-going crisis. Beginning with rounding up the wild horses, learning to ride, building a corral for control; all along the way, a process is developing with a foundation. Then there is a barn and a tractor with wheels, where self-image and self-respect comes into view. Then a horse show is needed to show off and reveal the results of one’s effort training their horses.
Of course, all this effort takes commitment. Commitment is full of thinking, and then doing. But, Louise has created a journey to connect our kids to themselves; and us to them. She has captured a thinking process for achieving a resourceful, purposeful, and meaningful way of living and being; and the R.P.M. becomes training coaches and partners for accomplishing a source for decision making with fewer consequences.
Taming the Wild Horses
offers guidance with direction for anyone who is raising, or in charge of children. A journey with introspection and a pathway to follow.
