Teaching kids to be kind

beLeaf Retreat stemmed from my frustration with the pandemic and its root causes of animal exploitation. I felt a strong desire to help people understand why this was all happening, and what we can all do in our everyday lives to spark change. I have an event planning company, ABCey Events and thought that this was a perfect opportunity to explore the virtual event space — and beLeaf Retreat was born.

The first beLeaf Retreat kicked off with a two-day virtual experience on 9th and 10th Jan 2021, designed to connect individuals and families to the plant-based movement and to help co-create a new shared values system. There were interactive workshops, accountability circles, a product marketplace, and VIP experiences such as live, interactive plant-based cooking demos.
