Every life is grand. Too many people think that they have to be something special or someone famous to be worthy in life. This couldn’t be further from the truth!

In the course of my wonderful work as a psychic medium, I have the enormous privilege and honour of working with countless numbers of beautiful, ordinary, everyday people who have extraordinary stories to share!

The thing that strikes me about hearing peoples’ stories is the common thread of them being drawn to a particular purpose in life. This is commonly referred to as ones dharma, a Sanskrit word for a law that governs the universe and its perfect order.

At one of my psychic flower reading parties a few years ago, I was fortunate enough to meet Julia. From the very first moment we met we just clicked. Like most of us, Julia is on a journey to further awaken her sense of purpose and the wonderful thing about life is that all the right people always appear at precisely the right time! It’s always Divine timing!

We never know why we meet the people we do, why our paths cross or what the potential outcomes of those sometimes serendipitous meetups may be.

In this book, Julia takes you on her life journey and chronicles many of her own personal experiences with the spirit world. We often think the word magic is a word that belongs to the world of illusionists and magicians, but the reality is that magic is all around us and is a beautiful universal force of energy that we can all tap into and use.

No matter who you are, the universe is always waiting to work with you and support you in your endeavours. Your ‘title’ in life makes you no grander or lesser in the world of spirit and has no bearing on how successful you can be. There are no titles in the spirit world!

When you read through Julia’s book you’ll be surprised how often you might be thinking how very similar your own spiritual experiences have been. You see, we all come from the same home and at the end of the day we all continue on our journey back to that same magnificent home when our life’s mission has been fulfilled on the earth plane.

Believe it or not, each and every one of us has the potential to do and be something very special. We were all born with a set of gifts and talents unlike any other. Once we take the time to tune into those incredible skills and abilities our life can take major leaps ahead, therefore creating a wonderful and extraordinary life!

Have the courage to explore your spiritual path in whatever form that may be. The beautiful thing to realise is that no-one is ever on the wrong path! We are exactly meant to be where we are at any given moment, experiencing everything we are.

When you truly surrender to the majesty of the universe and align your energy with its magical power you’ll be as pleasantly surprised as I was to discover how extraordinary your life’s experiences can become!

Enjoy Julia’s wonderful book, it will reassure you that we are indeed connected to an incredible life force that is ever so subtly ushering us towards our ultimate destiny!

    Introduction

Life can be extraordinarily different when viewed through the lens of gratitude

My story begins at the start of my earthly time - when the clock started ticking - when the unlearning begins.

Even our breath we come in with is twisted inside-out, as we navigate this journey of conditioning.

We get busy creating our world and let go of our soul yearnings to become so human we nearly break ourselves.

And then the real journey begins - back to the light.

I have always known there is a greater force in this universe and the mind is more powerful than anyone can comprehend.

My life has shown me over, and over that everything will work out, if you trust yourself and your circumstances.

In fact there is a common phrase I often use - what is meant to be will be.

I believe I became consciously aware of my spiritual journey when I was given greater emotions to deal with.

I say consciously aware, because we all are on a spiritual journey, whether we are aware or not; however, there is usually a deeper tragedy that sparks something more in us.

When we begin to question everything we thought we understood.

When the heart and mind are pushed to a deeper despair.

This is where the opportunity arises to reach within for more.

I found as a young person I always knew things; however, I found the suggestion I could feel, and foresee things caused me to feel vulnerable.

I felt afraid of ridicule, and to be shunned by others. Fear of opinions and risk of judgement held me back. I chose to overlook the knowing, although in hindsight my intuition continued to guide me.

I experienced signs and synchronicities after my father passed, which reminded me again of this knowing.

This sparked my curiosity and I decided it would be interesting to gain more knowledge and enhance these gifts.

Finding my way to a spiritual development course, I was shown the tools to access a deeper understanding of the incredible power within.

This was where my mind unlocked.

Learning meditation showed me how to be still, the rest took flight like magic!

The growth of my consciousness has continued since then, now almost four years. I have found a powerful knowledge, which has become much more than I ever expected.

As there is a great deal to understand, my discovery of wisdom continues daily.

This is a whole new way of accepting life as a human.

The soul journey is a complex and amazing one, and the love and light I have unearthed has expanded my open heart, and my courage.

I have learned this life is to be felt and emotions are the guiding factor in all we are here to learn.

We are in this life to have adventures and experiences – it is our job to show up, trust and enjoy all that life can offer!

I never had a dream to be a writer, in fact I never really had a dream at all.

I believe all I dreamed of was to be normal like other kids and to figure out how to be a grown up when I got there!

I didn’t want to feel different and I didn’t want to stand out-I was happy to be ordinary.

I always had an appreciation for the experiences life brought and locked them into my memories like precious treasures.

When I grew up I sought to create the normal life I had craved as a child.

Finally, as an adult with a family of my own, I realised life wasn’t ordinary at all.

    The Beginning

I always felt I was a fairly ordinary girl who was shy and unassuming.

I believed it was only my rather big, blue eyes that stood out.

I was unaware then that these were the windows to my soul and in them were the depths to greatness, which I would not discover until much later in life.

I seemed to go under the radar for most of my early years, quietly treading and minding my own business in my safe, little world.

Somehow, I always seemed to land on my feet and considered myself lucky in life, believing it was filled with adventures and rainbows.

As it turned out, my world wasn’t so little. The experiences from constant change in fact made my world very big and over the years helped my mind to be open to so much more than the ordinary.

It goes without saying our parents are where we begin, as we move through the
