Concealed Destiny
Good morning everyone who feels they are guided by Thee
You have to understand that you have a concealed destiny
Now, to understand your destiny, you must first water the seed
Like everything in life, you will eventually have a need
We are all seeds in life, that are planted by Thee
Spread all over the world to one day grow like a tree
You cannot grow in life if you are not fed water to grow
Every living thing needs water, which is God’s Spirit, if you didn’t know
So take time out of your busy day to feed your spirit
How else will it grow if you don’t listen to it?
Your destiny is planted within you, as it lays waiting for its feed
As you grow, like anything in life, it’s your soul that has a need
How can you claim your destiny if you leave it in a buried state?
Feed the spirit and watch it grow, and you will learn your fate
We go through life always wondering why we all meet troubled ways
Yet, do you realize problems bring wisdom far beyond your days?
Like any seed, you must be buried deep, so you can grow
How could you ever learn, if you feel there is nothing you need to know?
So take a moment and think of the path of you and me
As the sun shines, it will one day reveal our concealed destiny
A Humble Heart
Today we heard a message so deep
While we listened to the bishop, some began to weep
The bishop spoke about how to bless another
What may seem so easy to do, yet we ignore our own brother
We seem to win a battle, yet we lose the war
Instead of the anger, we need to know what to pray for
While we speak one word from the very start
The Lord doesn’t hear your words; He hears your humble heart
The bishop spoke of how so many commit to television shows
Yet they forget the church, when only Sunday is the time they go
He asked the question, "Why do you run to see Empire?
Instead of committing to church, you act like God’s on fire"
He asked, Why do we sit idle while others live like kings?
When you stretch out to see what a humble heart brings
You must allow the Lord to secure you when you ask
He will soothe your heart as it cries out at last
So you have an obligation that will require you to do your part
Just understand that God listens to a humble heart
When?
Today the question was asked to the very end
While we ask the Lord the one word called when
The bishop spoke of a man named Daniel
He was a man who felt he had found hell
While he went through hard times that he felt would never end
Daniel was a believer who asked the Lord when?
Just like everyone who has troubles, yet we believe
While we wait on the Lord, hoping it’s our pain He will relieve
The bishop informed everyone; you have your own purpose
While we struggle with life, He lives in all of us
Yet while you have faith, you still don’t understand
Daniel continued to question the spirit within every man
Why do I suffer? What have I done to deserve this?
Yet if you’re not given struggles, it’s the lesson you would miss
Daniel was informed that his words were heard
Yet his humbled heart was truly not scared
So understand your walk is one that has no end
Allow your Holy Spirit to answer your question, When?
Stay in Your Lane
The bishop was on a roll this Sunday
While some would disagree, others felt the spirit today
As the bishop cleared his throat and yelled, Stay in your lane
It seemed like he was pissed, while others would label it insane
Now you need to stay focused on your given path
While some might consider you angry and others will call it your wrath
Stay in your lane and allow others to follow
Instead of giving false words that to some may seem hollow
Stay in your lane while you see others adjust
That will be the moment that your spirit will need your trust
Just stay in your lane, and at the right moment you may shift
You may not realize it, but to some people you are their gift
Stay in your lane, and slowly you will see some people disappear
Those are the phonies in your life, who didn’t really care
Stay in your lane and you will see the satans revealed
Those friends and close people in your life who only wanted to steal
Stay in your lane and stop gazing at the sky
While you stare with a puzzled look and ask the question Why?
Stay in your lane and allow God to shift you
The Lord will show you His way and what you need to do
Listen and learn, because the Holy Spirit may also give you pain
Yet stay in your lane as we all have so much to gain
The Shift
The bishop came out to speak
