    Kaki Burns first began receiving thoughts in verse from God in the 1980s. In her first collection of poems developed over three decades, Burns encourages others to look toward God for guidance, love, and eternal salvation.

      By not seeking for His joy.

      We’d rather do unrighteous things

      That do our God annoy.
