She is a member of The Potters House Church of Dallas where she continues to strengthen her faith in very practical ways. She has taught in Texas public schools for 18 years and enjoys inspiring others to reach their God-given potentials. She and her husband, Kerry, have been married for more than 19 years and have three children- Kevan, Marquel, and Kierra. She lives in Grand Prairie with her husband and their children.

    His Plan

    In the beginning God created it all.

    Everything was perfect before the great fall.

    Through words He spoke, and it came to be,

    All elements we can and can’t see.

    Everything in its course remains;

    However, man just isn’t the same.

    He ranked man above all living creatures.

    That’s why man has God’s special features.

    But man was tempted and fell in the Enemy’s trap,

    Which led to the ultimate gap.

    With God man had an intimate relationship

    Until the words of the Enemy caused him to slip.

    Man did something he knew he shouldn’t do.
