Why don’t you get on your knees

And take time to pray?

If you are burdened down

At the end of the day

Ask your Savior to help you

By taking time to pray

If you are short of money

Because of not enough pay

And you have paid your tithes

Just take a little time to pray

If you are homeless and

No place to stay

Scripture says believe in Him

But take time to pray

If you are sick and

No bed for your head to lay

Believe and have patience

But still take time to pray

Our Lord and Savior loves all of us

And watches over us day after day

And he wants us to trust Him and

Be humble in everything

But don’t forget to take time to pray

Blessings

I am blessed by so many things everyday

But so are you

Sometimes we don’t realize how we are blessed

And we think our blessings are few

First of all we are blessed by life

But none of us knows for how lone

That’s the reason we should try to do right

And not be tempted into doing wrong

Second we are blessed by sight

That we can see near and far

Some don’t have that blessing but most do

And if we look close we can see the planet Mars

Third we are blessed by hearing

That some can hear A pin drop on the floor

Just think if you didn’t have that blessing

You couldn’t hear anything being said

While shopping in the store

Fourth and fifth we are blessed

By taste and smell

We can smell something we like being cooked

And taster it after it’s done

Even if we are out with friends

Or just having fun

But the most important blessing that I know

Is the gift of eternal life

And if he is not Lord of everything you do

Ask Him for an operation with His special knife

Don’t Wonder

I wonder if I were a butterfly

Going through the air

Would people watch me as I flew

Or would they even care?

I wonder if I were a kitty cat

Meowing and purring around the house

Would I just be a pet

Or would I try to catch A mouse?

I wonder if I were A great big dog

With a ferocious bark

I wonder I watch over things

Or be scared of the dark?

I wonder if I were a chicken hawk

Flying over a chicken coop

Would I settle for whatever I could get

Or would I make a scoop?

You see my friend

I wonder about lots of things

But there are some things I don’t wonder about

And one of them is

My Lord and Savior watches over me

And that I have no doubt
