The Potter’s Wheel

Good morning everyone. I hope you slept very well

This message is about our problems; it’s about the angel who fell

You see, we are all given our own tasks to deal with every single day

Do you remember the Israelites in the Bible? They were a stubborn crew

All they did was complain, so they never received their just due

The Lord is the potter, and he uses us as His clay

While He tries to mold us, He gives us different tasks every day

As long as we complain and try to avoid what we need to do

We are sent in a circle to repeat until we get the clue

Some may never learn, and so as clay, we are never molded

Others figure out life’s meaning as their blessings become unfolded

While the potter’s wheel continues to mold the clay into its new form

Our change becomes our new way, as your life changes its norm

The Lord molds us into what He needs us to be in order to serve His purpose

Yet, until we take shape, He won’t accept anything less

So you need to allow His hands to mold you today

Unless you’d rather keep wandering around for countless days

Don’t think about what you don’t understand or how you feel

We are all being molded by the potter’s wheel.

Renew Your Mind

Everyone who has been blessed with a mind of their own

Can you take a moment to understand why you aren’t alone?

There is a change that is needed, and it’s all in your mind

This thought of your life is something that’s hard to unwind

Yet, it is simple to understand, if you are open to new ideas

This power that I speak of will then become crystal clear

The Bible is a book of many doors for you and me

One hundred and sixty-six stories of what happened in our history

Yet, these stories still hold meanings to our lives today

Like history, life repeats itself, and we relive what was yesterday

It’s funny how we all seem to repeat the mistakes made in the past

What may seem like something new, is someone else’s story we cannot grasp

Yet, there is a storybook that is much more, and yet we seek a miracle

When all we need to do is read and understand the Lord’s Bible

Now this won’t be easy because we are all poisoned by our surroundings

Yet, if we try this one thing, the results would be astounding

So since you’ve tried everything else, and heartache is all you could find

Let’s try something different…read the Bible and renew your mind.

Don’t Stop

Good evening everyone who is within the sound of my voice

You may feel lost; you may feel like you don’t have a choice

So I’ve been sent here to tell you that you do

You have been blessed by our God, and, yes, I mean you

God touches everyone and gives them His own divine purpose

Whether your life is calm or busy; just like a circus

Don’t stop doing what God needs you to do

Whether you know your purpose or you haven’t got a clue

If you are living a life that you don’t even understand why

Have faith in our Lord, even if it makes you cry

Don’t stop while you walk on your path of glory

How can you complete your life if you don’t know the whole story?

Don’t stop giving Him praise when He answers your problem

He has been there every step of the way, even when life may have seemed grim

Don’t stop helping the person who needs your helping hand

It’s your purpose, even if you don’t understand

Don’t stop listening to the voice that has guided you

The spirit is His messenger for those without a clue

Don’t stop because you were never promised another day

Believe in the Holy Spirit because that is the only way.

Now everyone who has come to shed a tear

Please sit down and let me make this very clear

It is time for you to understand the real me

This is a special moment that has become our history

I was here to touch you all in a special way

Yet, you don’t really understand how God gave us today

Remember our good times and keep me in your heart

We shall remain together if you only do your part

I write this message so that you can understand me

I have touched many lives by turning I to we

So bow your heads today because I am grateful for what we had

Whether it was a moment or our times that made me glad

People think that a funeral is a time to cry

As you sit and remember, it is your heart that cries out, Why?

Grab someone next to you and, with them, shed a tear

You know how I was, living life without any fear

Because on this day, I am just an average fellow

Embrace a stranger for me and just say, Hello!

Appreciate

Hello everyone; it’s been a while since we have talked

It’s been a while since we’ve listened; it’s been a mile that we have walked

We all have questions about what our purpose or our fate is

Yet, the real question is, do you take your blessings for granted, or do you appreciate?

Now I want you to consider how life would be

If our Lord went on vacation and left our future up to you and me

I want you to look around to those you can call your friends

Are they really people you can count on, or do they disappear in the end?

Now you may think it is luck or just a turn of fate

Just remember how you were rescued. Did you ever appreciate?

We all are given hard times, and most cry out in pain

Even when it hurts, the Lord’s sunshine dries the rain

So please, my friends, be thankful for those bumps in your road

Every blessing that you receive comes from carrying a heavy load

So as you wake each morning, look forward to your fate

The Lord has carried your burden, I hope you can appreciate.

He Pushed Me

Good afternoon everyone who is within the sound of my voice

You may feel alone, or you may feel you don’t have a choice

Yet, the winds of God continue to push you into His destiny

When you wonder how you got so lucky, your spirit yells, He pushed me!

You may feel that you have the knowledge or a great idea

Yet, you are surrounded by others who don’t seem to care

You may feel you are blessed, but can’t ever get appointed

The time hasn’t come for everyone to know you’ve been anointed

You may feel you have a purpose, yet people don’t seem to care

Your time hasn’t come, but those nonbelievers better beware

You may feel you are not chosen because people stay away

It’s not who you are, it’s the Lord preparing your blessed day

You may wonder why many people travel in circles without you

It is because God’s touch has chosen your path, and He has blessed you

While you sometimes question why people don’t like what they see

It’s because those are people that God hasn’t included in your destiny

God will take you down paths that may seem hard at the time

Yet, He will remove you from hard moments or another one’s crime

While you will notice others struggle as you seem so free

Tell all who ask, It was God who pushed me!
