About this ebook
Roxy Lee
Born in Minnesota, Roxann was raised in Arizona and then moved to Hawaii. She fell in love with the ocean, the smell, the sound, and the beauty. Wow! She was excited to move to California from Hawaii and to continue her education. She started walking on the beach and words would go through her mind. She started bringing pens and paper to write on. She would sit down, and she just started writing. She wrote and wrote and wrote. Oh, was she ever inspired! They were all poems coming out. She couldn’t be happier. She wrote on the beach—what fun she was having! The sunsets were fantastic by the way. Roxann has written fifty poems ready to go, so it must be time for a book. The book is dedicated to my two daughters, Jamie and Jenna. Jamie painted the cover of the book, and Jenna has gotten really good at soccer. They both have a great sense of humor and work very hard. They are very talented. What’s not to be proud of? Roxann loves walking with her dog, Charlie. She enjoys him and her family. She enjoys cleaning, but it only works with music. She can boogey while she cleans. Hopefully I can make you laugh or, at least, smile. My purpose here is to create a source for you to smile, laugh, and be happy! Hope you enjoy the book! A Magic Potion
What is it about the ocean
It has a continual motion
We get burned so we spread on the lotion
But the ocean sure has A Magic Potion
The smell is fresh and clean
It’s rejuvenating and can bring
A sound that often rings
It’s time to spread our wings
So as the story goes
Who’s the next one to prove he knows
That the ocean moves by flows
One reaps what he sows
43069.pngMy Dad
My Dad is a very special man
Who’s always willing to lend a hand
He’s given me so much over the years
At times it almost brings me to tears
He’ll never let his weaknesses show
Instead he tries to change and grow
If he ever sees you low
He’ll give his love until you glow
Generous thoughtful and giving
He’s taught me these are a part of living
The greatest gift that one can give
Is to help another truly live
Thanks Dad – I Love you
43071.pngColors
Somewhere over the rainbow
Does my true love await
Oh, I do hope it is my fate
He’ll come soon and be my mate
I can’t wait to unbury my treasure
Show him all the precious jewels I have
For there can’t be a measure
Of all my qualities and amount of pride
He’ll sweep me off my feet
He’ll be a jewel, a gem a precious stone
It will be soon that we will meet
He’ll be my king and sit on a throne
The Colors of the rainbow will mark
Us together with a new start
The time is approaching, it will be very soon
We’ll be together and fly off in a big balloon
43073.pngGreatness
Is it how much money you have
Is it how many people you control
Is it how much property you own
Or is it a lack of not having any loans
In a world there is much significance
Placed on all the above
What is Greatness
I think I know
It is how many people you love
43078.pngTruly From My Heart
I have so much to give
Where shall I start
Shall I give you only a part
Or shall I give you my whole heart
I’ve done it so many times before
And now I’m ready to soar
If you don’t get what I’m saying
It
