About this ebook
This is a collection of poems depicting the struggles we endure on this journey through relationships, some good, some bad, but none erasing the hope.
Even when life becomes hard, with unexpected twists and turns, we accept those endeavors as though they were our due.
Gaining understanding and moving us forward on a positive knowing, the key is to survive and get through, until we are strong enough to make the changes needed.
We oblige whatever stream of life that comes our way, getting stronger as we learn to work around the hindrances that come, and a big part of that is, on occasion, we need to recognize the thing to do is run from the madness.
Let the light that shines inside you begin to illuminate your way, guiding you to the beauty God had in store for you, even when it means you must walk away. Stay strong and decisive, because this does not need to happen, and if it is happening to you, peace be with you until you can get away.

Matters of the Heart - Connie Jordan
A Real Look At Bullying
Took a walk down karma
lane recently with my daughter
and looked at what is happening here in America with the
children coming up with no direction, karma
was
confirmed as something tangible in this lifetime, based on
these observations,
When you wonder why children are like they are in America
especially, you have no further to look than in the mirror, at
your reflection, a show of force
in the wars we engage in,
but closer to home the ability for domestic violence to occur,
to name call in front of them with no conscience,
Bullying, lying, deceiving and blatantly showing the world
the greed, banked at the cost of others in this society, and
that’s only in politics, aids in deteriorating the moral code
of youth in this here society,
This attitude trickles down to jobs we hold, where control
and denial sometimes seems the motivating factor used by
management; self-righteousness, arrogance, superiority
and pure bad manners,
Seems to be overwhelming this society and creating the
monsters that we are witnessing, here and throughout the
world, for that matter, a place where truth, integrity,
civility and sanity appears to have no use,
This behavior rapidly trickling down further to our youth
and having devastating consequences on their attitudes
and on what is acceptable in a civilized society, as the
Tea Party once cried out for stabilizing the financial debt,
We are placing on our children and children’s children,
instead of focusing on the real debt we are incurring with
our children; the loss of caring, the loss of empathy, the
loss of civility and the need for instant self-gratification,
Coupled with egomania, disrespect and intense narcissism,
which has led to this bully mentality that motivates the
madness we are witnessing with our children;
Karma
, what you do is what you get back, just look at
where we are now at to fully understand the concept of,
karma
and how it affects what this world is being dealt,
At this very hour,
Attitudes Reflected
Attitude is everything, or so they say, but the attitude
being displayed by the masses, is leading them astray,
taking part in whatever they please, allowing their eyes
to covet what they see,
Based on the negative that nothing is relative, unless
it’s all about them, even though they pretend to be your
friend, allowing you to let down your guard, until you
see who they really are,
While they are out there living with that I
mentality,
they need to be aware of what they sow, they surely reap
and they will indisputably get their due,
Because the attitudes displayed chases good things away,
while they are living their life in this dark way, remember
light shines through one day, exposing things that truly
offend,
Yes, those attitudes filled with
