Unleashing Suffocated Souls
()
About this ebook
This book is jam-packed with approaches and methods that seek to free anyone who feels his or her soul is stuck or trapped. The author has logically drawn in mind awakening chapters that bring readers face to face with themselves. This means readers interacting with the book, can identify, assess and tweak the parts within themselves that weigh their souls down; on a deep emotional level that we tend to ignore.
The book deals with how one typically responds to the situations one finds oneself in and how this affects how one shares spaces with others. Through reading the first part of this wonderful book, one can draw valuable lessons on identifying and finding a way to live with one’s inner ghost which guides one to accept or reject certain things based on its own survival.
Part two reflects on how each one of us thrives in spaces where we are surrounded by people who embrace us instead of those who find us objects to be tolerated, and how this adds or takes away from how we move toward becoming the best versions of ourselves. The author sheds light on how operating from a defensive mode, throughout your life, can kill dreams and the importance of shifting this in order to make the most of our opportunities.
Lastly, this book attempts to remind us of the assertion that every dark cloud does, indeed, have a silver-lining and guides readers through methods and real life examples of what the freedom of unleashed souls can achieve. Even if the legacies people come from are riddled with negativity and pain, they can stretch their limits and recognise what truly matters - peace of mind

Message from the Author
I am a self-made man who only notices after acting that the universe has conspired with my actions. I have lived a life of saving myself out of any dump site through choices and I have always been realistic by testing theories that my mom survived by tolerating people, which also assisted me in advising my clients in the EAP (employee wellness) field since 2008. I have experienced that, in order to enjoy the light, first it must be dark, and this book will reveal that.
I made a conscious decision to create actions that will enrich and set a standard that those who come after me can look upon to see what I was trying to achieve for our family name.
Our past has nothing to do with our future, but only if we act differently. Inaction or passiveness may be suffocating your soul, but you may be asleep all along. Do not wait for life to dictate terms for you; draw the terms and you will rise above anything – that is your new motto!
I believe this book will assist people who are trying something for themselves, who are not aware that they are unhappy with their lives and who want to be great in life. Most people are hidden behind computer screens in most workplaces hiding talents, skills and energies; this is your manual for doing well in life and securing freedom for your soul.
Read and enjoy it with a free spirit. Indulge!
Acknowledgements
A special thanks to my family, especially my wife, Thotho, my brother, Kamva, my sister, Sinesipho, and friends for the time they took to read my book. It’s no longer mine alone; it is ours.
Dedication
I dedicate this book to all humankind, but mostly to those who may wonder why the world behaves the way it does and why they are feeling suffocated, and it is for those who seek to understand those who surround them.
Whether you are working for a busy employer without adequate recognition or living an empty life with no goals, it is so easy to be dissatisfied; this book will help you to gain back control of your life.
I also dedicate it to my brothers and sisters, whether you are DNA relatives or not. Sisonke (we are together). To my sons, Lahluma and Landa, ‘here’s your second manual of life, boys’.
To my strong mother, Thembela Rexe, who told me from a very young age to believe in God, because life has no manual; thank you, mam’ Giqwa.
To my pretty wife, Thotyelwa Sinazo Lugedle-Rexe, I have always used our time to write this book. Thank you for believing in my dreams; you are the eighth wonder. Dlamini!
To my Ikhala Chapter members, the EAP Practitioner of the Year 2016 award you gave me in my absence is the push I needed to remember my purpose. Let’s continue touching lives!

Chapter 1
Unresolved Issues (Baggage Claim)
Almost everyone has unresolved issues that he or she is constantly avoiding, no matter how petty. The most brilliant move is to face them, fix them and move on. I have grown to believe that people who make it in life, out of suffering or any background, barely go back to make up for all their hurt and this damages their souls, as they cannot fully celebrate with those who know nothing about their upbringing. It is well and good to come back to face your weaknesses no matter how embarrassing, hurtful, small or scary; at the end, they made you who you are. It is your way to the calm and refreshing future.
You will find out that some people experienced bullying or some abuse, dressed
