Go Big or Go Home

Feeling isolated from your family, friends, and even yourself definitely takes a mental toll—and for a lot of us, these last few years of living in the pandemic have been as tough as vegan leather. We’ve all had to make adjustments—to our living arrangements, our internet bandwidth, and (ahem) our belt loops. As for me, though I have always worked from home, my wife went from going to the office every day to being fully remote—leaving me to believe that our two attention-hungry dogs and food-obsessed cat are the ones who started the pandemic in the first place. It was all a ruse!

But for some, feeling alone in your troubles—whether big or small—can be dizzying. In this column, we tackle some of those circumstances that lead us to question our choices, our friends, and our reactions. Get your popcorn and nooch ready; today, we’re going deep.
