Born in Mexico City, Mexico in 1966 and nourished in the bosom of a big loving family, Ricardo Lebrija grew up to become a chemical and sound engineer, prompting a 25-year career in radio and television producing, directing, writing, and performing. As an avid traveller and connoisseur of human relations, Ricardo has had the privilege of discovering the world first-hand, knocking elbows with countless cultures and experiencing the joy of being in places imagined only in dreams. He lives in Los Angeles, California, where he still searches for that elusive love, that glimpse of heaven, that spark that fills your heart with the fire that makes life worth living.

Profane and lethargic, such are my dreams when dreamed in your honor, when this doze of reality bites like fever, when all that defines my will is the chill that roams my body when you kiss me, when I feel your proximity.

I wonder if it’s my sanity that wakes me up, the one that strips me from this moments of euphoria that I share with you, when the universe appears in your eyes that light up with the sparkle of a million stars, when all I hear is your laughter determining it all, because now I know how it feels to be lost, to live crazed by one motive that predicts my luck, diagnosed with one prognosis, in love with you.

Profanos y letárgicos, así son mis sueños cuando son en tu honor, cuando el sopor de esta realidad me invade como fiebre, cuando lo único q forma mis deseos es ese calambre q recorre mi cuerpo cuando me besas, cuando te siento cerca.

Me pregunto si es la sanidad la q me despierta, la q me arrebata estos momentos de euforia q vivo junto a ti, en los q el universo se forma en tus ojos q se iluminan con el brillo de millones de estrellas, en los q lo único q escucho es tu risa definiéndolo todo, porq ahora ya se lo q es enloquecer de amor, lo q es vivir desquiciado por un solo motivo q predice mi suerte, diagnosticado con una sola prognosis, enamorado de ti.

I’m not afraid of a lot of things….

Getting old because time doesn’t stand still and it’s inevitable.

Failure, because sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down.

Darkness, because I know dawn will break.

Death, because it’s part of life and only natural.

But I am scared of loosing you, loosing these feelings we have, fear of loosing your love, not being able to see you, touch you, feel you, having you here with me and make you mine…

Fear that keeps me awake, fear that makes me live…
