About this ebook

I wrote a phrase, the other day, on a graduation card reach for the stars so that it can illuminate your potential. As I scribed it across this bare card I wondered about the power of words and the potential these words could have upon the eyes of a believer. The energy in words takes form and life in the hearts of readers that believe in them. I remember the first time I was told that I have a way with words. It lit a light in the darkest corners of my mind, where my poetry hid from the eyes and ears of the people around me and I was changed forever by that simple phrase because I became a believer and I grounded myself in the poetic shoes I had so silently tiptoed in. I am forever grateful in the power of those words. Those words managed to eliminate the doubt that burdened my creative expression and bring them to the surface, illuminating my potential.

As I scribed it across this bare card I wondered about the power of words and the potential energy these words could have upon the eyes of a believer. Words take form and become meaningful when we begin to feel and see ourselves in them. The potential energy they carry is transferred into hearts of readers that believe in them and thus they can begin to enlighten and even cripple our thinking. I remember the first time I was told that I have a way with words. It lit a light in the darkest corners of my mind, where my poetry hid from the eyes and ears of the people around me.
