About this ebook

Do you wonder what it is like to be a baby Christian, with all the roller coaster ups & downs of Life? We All have different ideas of what God is like & many times we get the wrong Image of Him. A distorted view, you might say, because of our up-bringing. Little do we realize that He is watching over us, seeing us through all of those storms of life. Waiting on us to surrender our self to Him so He can bring JOY into our lives & heal our wounded hearts.

Or, perhaps you are not a Christian at all & are seeking to know how to become one! Well, wonder no more, my friends, for in this Book, you can find the right Image of God, through His beloved Son, JESUS! You know, The One Who came as a Babe in a Manger & gave His very Life on a cruel cross of shame to Ransom you from Eternal separation from God. WHY? Because: He LOVES YOU!

    A LOVE LETTER TO JESUS!

    GOD’S REFINERY

    AN EASTER POEM!

    A WEDDING POEM

    TEACHING FOR THE MASTER!

God has opened up my mind & allowed these Poems & Thoughts to come out through my pen (Isaiah 30:8-9) to all who would receive them.

I trust you, too, will share in the JOYS of The Father & The Son & The Holy Spirit that I have received from Him in writing these Poems.

    ISAIAH 61:1-3

(taken from The Living Bible, parentheses mine)

    1. The Spirit of The Lord is upon me, because The Lord has anointed me to bring GOOD NEWS to:

the suffering & afflicted (oppressed by Satan & unbelievers).

    2. He has sent me to:

comfort the broken hearted (those who have lost all hope) to announce liberty (FREEDOM) to captives (of their past) & to open the eyes of the (spiritually) blind.

He has sent me to tell those who mourn (because they are back-slidden & think they can’t come back) that the time of God’s favor to them has come.

    (PLEASE COME BACK TO GOD!)

& the day of His wrath (sinner beware) to their enemies.

    3. To all who mourn in Israel (also Gentiles) He will give:

(A Crown of) BEAUTY for ashes

(The Oil of Gladness) JOY instead of mourning

(Garments of) PRAISE instead of heaviness.

For GOD has planted them (where has He planted YOU?—Mark 4:14) Like strong & graceful oaks for HIS OWN GLORY! (never take credit For what God has done in & through you). 10/21/1994

    Thank you,

    Patricia

    A LOVE LETTER TO JESUS!

Oh, Lord, Precious Savior, lead & guide me today.

    Oh, Lord, my Shepherd, please help me, I pray;

Apply the Oil of Anointing, to rid my soul of decay.

Oh Lord, Holy Spirit, fill me just now,

That I might come into Your Presence & humbly bow.

My King & my Master You’ll always be,

Glory, oh glory, Thy Face I shall see.

Open the windows & doors of my heart,

Come in & we’ll sup & never depart.

Lead me & guide me & help me, I pray,

That others to Jesus I may lead every day.

My Friend & Companion You are to me,

One day I’ll cross that river to be with Thee.

Forever & ever we’ll always abide,

Ever & always close to Your Side.

Thank You, Sweet Jesus, & PRAISE Your Holy Name,

Since knowing You, I’ve never been the same.

    Healing & dying to ‘self’ each day;

Changing & molding my image, I pray ~

To make me like Jesus, more & more every day.

    Glory, oh glory, Savior Divine,

I am Yours & You are mine.

Master & Savior & Friend indeed,

Jesus, Sweet Jesus, You’re ALL that I need.

    My longing & prayer

Today I was reading Matthew 11:25-30 in the Living Bible and as I read vss.29-30 "wear My yoke and let Me teach you, for I Am GENTLE & HUMBLE and you shall find rest for your souls…"

It really hit me that most of my years as a Christian I thought of God as a hard taskmaster, ready to hit me in the head every time I did wrong. I had the WRONG IMAGE of Him and this verse brought it home to me of how He has let me see that I don’t see Him that way any more. He IS gentle with us, it is OUR stubborn rebellion that makes Him have to get firm with us, but ONLY to save us from eternal torment. We only see NOW ~ He sees
