Hello Lord, it's Me
()
About this ebook
Being a Christian and a believer of God, the book is about acknowledging Him through poems. I hope to encourage nonbelievers to strengthen their faith in God. Also, my hope is to attract individuals to read my poems concerning my faith, my belief, and my love for God.

Hello Lord, it's Me - Donna Wilborn Peebles
He Knows My Name (I’m Not Ashamed)
(March 10, 2019)
He knows my name,
I’m not ashamed.
When he calls I’m at full attention
He’s here he’s there just to mention
My soul aches for his calling when I’m falling
He picks me up without stalling.
Lord you are ever so gracious in a world so spacious
You are always so mindful of me.
Making sure I have what I need.
You known my name
I’m not ashamed
And yet you forgive my sins without blame
Oh what a great and wonderful God you are
You are by far,
The great and awesome star.
I love you.
Oh, but the Joy
(December 29, 2019)
Lord,
I was once, twice and many times lost,
Until I saw the cross.
I saw the suffering you endured for me.
Oh, Lord thank you, for I will always praise thee.
You gave me life forever more
Now I know you are to adore
Everything is truly forgiven
Now I can start livin’
Oh, but the joy you have in store
Oh, but the joy forever more.
Forever more it will be
Your love and forgiveness in eternity.
Anchoring My Heart in God
(March 10, 2019)
Lord,
Hello, it’s me.
Just want to say Hey.
Got my mind on you
And you on my mind
You have been ever so kind
You have made my day so shine.
I’m anchoring my heart in you Lord
I’m giving you all of me
Trusting you to every degree
Just want to let you know that
I love you so.
I’m anchoring my heart in you’ oh’ Lord
Making you the true source of my life
For I know this is right
Cause you are the bright glow and true light.
