Laquita Brinkley

Growing up on the Southside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, I never imagined writing a book or a self-help book. I've always had a vision that I would one day become the best lawyer there is. Having my thinking cap on one day I said to myself…well they have parking wars going on A&E I should attempt do a book on all the excuses that we all hear on a daily basis out in the street and why we shouldn’t give them a ticket or tow their cars. Here I am 24yrs of age and I’ve been married to my husband for 4 yrs. with 4 baby boys all between the age of 5 and 4 months, and 2 stepdaughters 11 yrs. and 7yrs., 1 brother and 2 sisters with a host of step-siblings. My Father resides in the same state with me while my Mother rests in peace with god. Not knowing at the age of three years old what life is going to be like since I left my hometown of Chicago, IL at a very early age after my mother passed away. Went to Edison High School where I graduated in June of 2003 with a 3.7 GPA. I later on Attended Rasmussen College for a couple quarters earning a 4.0 GPA for each quarter that I attended. I've been working jobs ever since I was 14 yrs. old. I would have to say my best job that I've worked at had to be the Mpls- Public Library Linden Hills Location. My next favorite would have to be Mpls- Traffic Control Dept.
