    Foreword

Abuses, be it physical, verbal, emotional, mental, or spiritual, are extremely dangerous in a marriage. They are not good in any way, shape, or form and are very unhealthy. These abuses come about if there is no love associated with the relationship.

Of the different types of abuses stated above, I believe that verbal abuse is the worst of all. I believe that it is caused by anger and bitterness. It is likely to affect someone psychologically because words are powerful. This causes the relationship to be very toxic. With verbal abuse, physical abuse may be possible, which can cause death. If a death has not occurred, then there can be awfully bad emotional abuse to the point where the person goes insane.

Another abuse that is not mentioned often is called food abuse. I believe that a lot of people at times use food as a weapon of abuse. Food is known to be one of the basic needs to survive. On several occasions, I have seen food being hidden from people who need it the most.

From a marital and Christian perspective, it is stated in Ephesians 5:25 Husband, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it. If the husband follows the commandments that God gives, there would not be any of these abuses in the relationship and the wrath of God would not be upon them.

    Introduction

The institution of marriage is a beautiful thing that has been ordained by God. In a marital relationship, each party must develop a great deal of trust, be able to compromise, and both the parties should be loving, honest, and respectful.

Hebrews 13:4 tells us, marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled. For the most part, a relationship between a man and a woman produces children as it states in Genesis 1:28, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.’

This book is based on a true story which is intended to help individuals who are hurting and abused, whether physically or verbally, and give them advice on what to do when these things occur.

I will also look at different types of treatment that husbands give their wives from time to time and how disrespectful they can be. But most of all, I will talk about how bad influences can destroy what God has ordained, and what measures can be taken when the relationship reaches a certain stage.

    Lastly, it will discuss
