The secret to CONTENTMENT

I was confronted with the word “contentment” recently. In this age where we are constantly bombarded by what we are supposed to have, we can sometimes find ourselves lacking contentment in our lives, which influences our spiritual journey.

What blocks us from being content?

1 Timothy 6:6 reads, “Now godliness with contentment is great gain.” If your walk with God is not mixed with a contentment and satisfaction that God has brought you to where you are, it lacks the “gain” that is promised. From prison Paul writes:

– 1 Timothy 6:7. Notice that it is not money that is evil, it is the love of money.
