    What exactly is stress?

    Stress is defined as physical or emotional tension. It is a feeling that comes due to an event that can cause tension, frustration, and mood swings in your behavior. Hence, it makes your body produce a reaction. Your body produces a reaction in the form of that stress or is currently faced with a challenge. In life, we are all victims of different scenarios, but it certainly depends on us whether we decide to cave in or if we want to stand up and fight the situation. Most of the time these situations arise because of our own activities of the past or present – Attaching scenarios with our mind that can potentially affect our future too. However, sometimes even the strongest ones fall helplessly to things; as it is only human to have limits of how many things you can take at once. Science strongly supports the fact that we need to get rid of stress and anxiety but it is in fact, not as easy as it sounds. You can control all you want, but I believe; avoiding bad thoughts or not discussing things that are affecting your mental health with the people you love or trust – cannot lead to any good but a worsened mental health that will require much more time to recover sooner or later in future.
