About this ebook
Whether you realize it or not, when you decide to start a business, work on new software development, or build a new game, you are already formulating a marketing plan. Marketing can be simply defined as determining what you are going to offer, either product or service, and to whom you believe you will sell to and at what price. Part of this process is also to consider how you will position yourself in the marketplace and promote it. It is the latter part, product positioning and promotion, where the process for many seems to drop off.
Many companies push marketing off, thinking it is not critical in the initial stages of their business growth. I believe this is a tactical mistake and that even the simplest, yet well-defined marketing plan will go a long way in helping you launch more successfully.
The goal of a well-defined marketing plan is to increase awareness of your brand amongst your target audience and increase sales. In this book, I will help you create a clean and precise marketing plan through a simplified process and introduce you to a few new marketing tactics along the way.

I appreciate that you took the opportunity to acquire this book, and I welcome you. I have been in marketing for a very long time. Even though many marketing channels have changed, the core concept remains the same. You must have a presence where your customers are.
This book takes an innovative and holistic approach to teach you how to create a simple marketing plan and it is split into five distinct parts to help you simplify the process.
Part 1: This section will show you an innovative way to split the planning of different business types into a few select marketing tactics. If you are a first-time entrepreneur or a first-time marketer, you will see how simple and eye-opening it will make your planning.
Part 2: You will start by making a 3-sentence marketing plan.
