    INTRODUCTION

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE OVERWEIGHT OR OBESE OR DIABETIC? DOES OBESITY BECOME A DISEASE?

Diabetics in the world are about 450 million and it is estimated that in 2040 they will be 640 million, 8-10% of the population.

Almost 63% of the Australian adult population is overweight, that is eleven million of people, of these about five million are obese, which means being more exposed to: heart attack, stroke, diabetes, tumors, high blood pressure, etc ... so over time it may become A REAL SERIOUS ILLNESS.

    1. THE WILL IS STRONGER THAN OBESITY

Usually you want to lose weight, if you are overweight or obese, for aesthetical and health reasons.

Unfortunately, many people are not interested in these reasons, because they prefer to maintain some bad habits of eating food, so-called junk food, rather than being more attractive and healthier, and they lcontinue to love a sedentary lifestyle.

The pleasure of food and taste is the first reason of life and happiness to many obese families, who are absolutely not interested in a diet, even if they are aware, that they are more likely to risk dying for: heart attack , stroke, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, arterial hypertension, etc ...

SO IF YOU ARE OVERWEIGHT OR OBESE, YOU MUST WISH TO LOSE WEIGHT IN ORDER TO LIVE WELL, HEALTHY AND WITH SATISFACTION OF YOUR LOOK AND OF THE ACHIEVED RESULT.

A SLIM PERSON IS USUALLY CONSIDERED TO BE HEALTHY, BUT CAN ALSO BE SICK FOR INTESTINAL MALABSORPTION OR FOR THYROID DISEASE, ETC ... ONE THING IS TO BE SLIM AND TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR ILLNESS, ANOTHER THING IS TO BE SLIM AND TO LOSE WHEIGT BY IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF PHYSICAL HEALTH FOLLOWING A RIGHT LIFESTYLE, PREVENTING THE MOST IMPORTANT DISEASES.

Many methods of SLIMMING lead to a rapid reduction in weight, resulting in: physical damage such as osteoporosis, peroxidation of tissues (aging appearance), appearance of wrinkles on the face, risk of kidney stones and cysts, overload of the liver with fatty degeneration or cirrhosis, enzymatic and mineral imbalances, etc…

SO NEVER USE TO DO BY YOURSELF AND IT NECESSARY TO CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR.

The appearance of disorders requires the involvement of the family doctor.

IS THE MIND STRONGER THAN OBESITY?

The mind is still a great mystery, it has 100 billion neurons and 150 billion synapses, ie conjunctions, to transmit nerve impulses. The axon, the central thread of the neuron, extends for 160,000 kilometers, one third of the distance between the earth and the moon.

It seems impossible that an obese or overweight person may fail to react to oppose this precarious health condition.

You can't find: willpower, emotional capacity, fear of encountering major diseases resulting from obesity: diabetes, heart attack, stroke, sudden death, cancer, etc ...

IT IS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO LOSE WEIGHT, IF YOU ARE IN AN ENVIRONMENT OR IN AN OBESE FAMILY, AS CONDITIONED BY A SUPERFICIAL MENTALITY, THE SUBCULTURE OF ORAL PLEASURE THAT WANTS TO IGNORE THE RISKS THAT THE OBESE CONDITION INVOLVES. LIKE THE OSTRICH WHICH HIDES THE HEAD, BUT LEAVES THE BODY OUTSIDE.

One has to make an effort to think about what has happened to others for having neglected a condition of poor health.

Just read the newspaper and every day this or that person disappears due to obesity: heart attack of a forty-year-old, heart attack while playing football, sudden death at night (he suffered from overweight and high blood pressure), leaves a family with a wife and two small children, etc ...

Feeling a sense of anguish and fear after an important disorder and the brain considers itself in danger, then one can find the will to change, the ability to adapt to a new lifestyle.

The mechanism of thinking is quick to change after a shock, a heart attack, a stroke, etc ..., and you decide to change your lifestyle and diet right away. But it can also be slow and design the adaptation in a rational way.

So the brain always learns something new: practicing physical activity makes you feel better, you become more beautiful, less tired, you can hug a child or a relative without the obstacle of a prominent abdomen or go to the beach and not having to cover with redundant clothing and rolls of flab or cellulitis.

Enduring the boredom of always having to eat, even if you are not hungry, gorging on food ingested quickly.

Then you can stop accusing: sleepiness after a meal, not being able to be awake, not being masters of oneself, slaves to what we eat, even if it makes us badly, being laughed at on the beach for their appearance, sweating profusely in the summer, unable to go for a run without risking being dry and breathing heavily, etc ...

Instead we must learn to: love ourselves, have greater self-confidence and esteem, learn to use our senses, not just taste (keep food a little time in the mouth to fully perceive: the flavors, the fragrance, freshness), but also take the time to perceive the scent of food (without having already swallowed it, the fragrance of warm bread), touch (touch the bread, etc ...), hearing and listening: beautiful music, the song of the birds, etc ..., the view (a splendid panorama, a painting, etc ...), to breathe slowly for better digestion and oxygenation.

Without forgetting to use smaller plates and containers. The first, instead of being in the deep plate, is preferably served in a bowl; the second served in a smaller flat plate; the dessert (sorbet) without sugar in a smaller and more elegant glass, like a flute; fruit in a small bowl (cherries, portions fruit in a bowl (cherries, small portions: slice of pineapple, melon, watermelon, sliced peach, etc…).

The aroma of the wine must be breathed, the nectar of the gods must be chewed between the teeth to fully enjoy it, without throwing it down all at once.

Times and ways of living need to be rescheduled. If you finish eating a dish before the others, you already have the awareness that something is wrong.

If you drink a glass of wine and throw it down in one gulp, you already know that you have not enjoyed the color, scent, flavor, etc ..., you have inflamed your stomach more, causing greater appetite and greater calorie intake.

During a meal we must not neglect: the sixth sense (influenced by the environment where you eat: traditional or elegant or rustic or artistic, etc ...), the atmosphere in a broad sense (outdoors, by the sea, in the mountains, by the lake , in company or not, with music, a painting, etc ...

Everything influences the satisfaction of eating a meal in a pleasant way, which leads to not overdoing the quantity and to looking for the quality and freshness of the food.
