Reviews for The Blue Zones Kitchen
7 ratings4 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It's pretty remarkable that all four people who have left reviews didn't bother to read the first couple pages of this book which clearly states that this is a conversation starter for book clubs. You're supposed to have read the actual book first. I found this out in 30 seconds after I opened this, so not quite sure why you guys didn't "get it"..
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5There was no content other than questions. It sucked. I'm not sure what that was supposed to be.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book is not a book of recipes but a book of questions about the recipe book.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Clearly a misrepresentation. Nothing to do with the recipe book of the orgiinal author.

Introducing The Blue Zones Kitchen
The Blue Zones Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Live to 100 by Dan Buettner is a cookbook that contains 100 different kinds of recipes from the Blue Zones. The book is written for everybody interested in longevity and health. Buettner believes that the Blue Zone locations are home to the happiest and the healthiest communities in the whole world. Each recipe introduced in the book has cooking methods and ingredients that are popularly known to increase wellness, mental health, and longevity.
The Blue Zones were classified into five regions all over the world. The world's longest-living men are situated in the mountain villages of Sardinia. Many of the women who lived up to a hundred years old are found in the small communities in Okinawa, Japan's South Pacific islands. The Greek island of Ikaria, a place described to be where people forgot to die, has 10,000 or more inhabitants. The residents there do not only live longer but also records only a very few numbers of people who have dementia. All of the population in Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula was also believed to live life the longest and the healthiest until the age of 90. Buettner also found out that there is a group of Seventh-day Adventists living in Loma Linda, California. They happen to live almost ten years more than any other
