The Power of Emotions
How do Emotions work?
There has been a long-standing debate between psychologists and philosophers regarding the nature of human emotions. Some perceive it as the supernatural state of our respective souls; some regard it as the cognitive judgment of goal satisfaction, and some regard emotions as the representation of physiological changes inside the body, among many other definitions. Today, with the help of neuroscience, it is suggested that human emotions source from a combination of personal interpretation of situations, also known as cognitive appraisal, and how the body feels physiologically.
