I have known you for over 10 years of my life…..and from the moment I met you, you have made me feel good about myself. You are a funny bone to make me laugh, a shoulder when I cried, my ear when I just need you to listen, and conscious when I have need to think. I remember in high school, we could just look at one another and laugh because only you and I got the joke! You have made me laugh and cry at the same time but also given me words to think and grow on. You have always known what to say, when to say it and how to say it and sometimes when you do not say a word is when you are telling me everything I need to hear. You have known almost every problem I have faced and though you could have judged me, you didn’t and instead you prayed for me and helped me. You have a gift…a true God given gift of how to use words. And not just words but how to use them and say them to make sense to any occasion. You were born with this personality that draws individuals to you for you to help them and inspire them. I call you….my inspiration. Many people cannot say that they have had a true friend, but I, Misti Gaffney, can say that God has blessed me when he placed you, Kelvin Hicks, into my life. Not only are you my best friend, but also my brother. I have been fortunate to have my own personal Moments with Kel and this book will become such a blessing to so many people because this book will allow people to take Moments with Kel with them wherever they go for whatever emotion they may be going through……I love you and congratulations on this accomplishment!
