About this ebook
Even in the midst of pain, remember that you have purpose.
No challenge you face will ever take away the plan, purpose, and impact that God desires for you to have on others.
When you've been through physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional abuse, it's hard to know where to turn. You might feel like you're the only one who has ever experienced what you have—like no one will understand what you're going through.
But the truth is that many people have been through similar experiences—and they can help you get back on your feet again.
In this book, Author T.L. Jackson shares how one can go through physical and emotional abuse and come out stronger by applying the principles of God to their life.
T. L Jackson
T.L. Jackson was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grew up in church. Her love of God pushed her to join the church choir and drama team. These clubs helped her build who she is today: Sunday school and Bible Study were her favorites. She lives to inspire, uplift, and empower others to be their best selves. Because of her relationship with God, she brought her three children up in the church. When she’s not listening to gospel music, attending plays, traveling, or reading, she is spreading God’s love to others.

Dedication
I compose the dedication of this book with profound feelings of joy, gratitude, thanks, and sadness that I compose the dedication of this book. We all know that God works through people. He sends people to be by your side, teach you, pick you up, encourage you, and love you. My life has been abundantly blessed in all these areas, including people who have come to teach me a few valuable lessons. Sometimes the most powerful lessons are those that are the most bittersweet. In this dedication, I want to give thanks for the bittersweet lessons that I would like to call, The Lessons of Life.
Janie B Wright, aka Nanna (Nan)
You always said, God hears your prayers!
and HE did! Your wisdom, knowledge, and unparalleled work ethic made me the woman I am today. I am forever grateful for and to you. You were always there! I could always count on you to be the Matriarch my children and I yearned for. You, being one of the most important and influential people in my life, enabled me to reach goals I never thought were reachable. I miss you! I love you! Thank you for seeing my potential and being the catalyst for my success. As you watch us from Heaven, I pray that I’m making you proud. You are the best Nanna my children and I could ever ask for! The lesson I learned from you: No matter what, love unselfishly!
Vida, aka My Sister
I’ve heard the term sister
used quite loosely. But you were more than a sister to me. I vividly remember waking up to hear the most passionate and beautiful prayer. I opened my eyes, and there you were. Your eyes were closed tightly as you summoned God and his angels to comfort me. Your plea to God is what called me back to consciousness. The word sister
doesn’t begin to describe what you will forever mean to me. From the early ‘90s to 2021, you were my ride-or-die! I can fill many pages with thousands of words describing your genuine beauty and goodness! You continuously poured into me when I couldn’t pour into myself. You had no idea that the times you would tell me I was fierce and strong were the exact moments I needed to hear it most. My life isn’t the same without you; it took me some time to realize that my life is better because I had the pleasure of having you in it for 30 years; I am a better person because of you. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and even cry at times. Vida, your beautiful, gentle, and caring spirit will stay with me
