Welcome to episode one of the Healing Her podcast! I am so excited to be here and I am so honored that you are in this space with me. I have been on the internet now for well over a decade and while there are some of you who have been with me since my blog days, there are also some of you who are just joining me for the first time. A lot has happened between then and now so I’d like to take some time today to catch you up.
As you know, this is called the Healing Her podcast which means we are going to learn to navigate our grief together so that we can move forward in joy. Part of going through grief is talking about the things we’ve been through, so that’s what I’ll be sharing with you today. Although my grief and the things that caused my grief have completely changed who I am as a person, I have found healing. This is not to say that my healing was easy and in fact, I continue to work on healing today, however that’s what this community is all about. It’s about support, learning, and growing.
In this episode, I will be sharing my experience with no longer being a parent to my adopted children as well as a traumatic miscarriage that followed. If any of this resonates with your story, I want you to know that you are not alone. I see you, I feel, and I am here with you. Keep listening for more.
The Healing Her podcast will dish out practical tools, a touch of humor, and a whole lot of heart to help you uncover your way back to yourself and your peace. We will dive deep into the world of healing in a way that’s as relatable as chatting with your best friend. I’m Ashley LeMieux, a grief expert whose personal journey and masters degree in health and wellness has provided a whole new view on the world. Let’s break down the walls that are keeping us from finding the peace and transformation that we all deserve.
