Introduction

In 2001 I had become totally lost in my life, I was living in the dream home I had built, with the family I had created but I was on my knees. I had no energy left, I had spent my whole life giving. One summers day I found myself arguing with my husband and in one moment of truth, I had an experience with an angel, who gave me permission to think about myself for once. To stop what I was doing. That was the start of my awakening.

In 2002 I lost the family I loved, I was feeling suicidal and not knowing who I was anymore. I found myself alone in the empty house, my body wracked in pain I asked What has happened to me? From a place deep within I heard This is the dark night of the soul. I remember how I fell silent and something inside of me understood this. I then heard something say I don’t want to leave Susan and a reply came that it wouldn’t be easy but it was doable and then I heard the same voice say Give me 5 years.
