Please remember the following words are being written by a woman who is "still "under the influence of herb and spices… and no animals were in jeopardy during the writing of this book.

At one time or another… or will in the future… .

This book will hopefully explain why I chose to write about my life using the WEED as a metaphor… the definition of a weed is "any plant considered troublesome, useless or unattractive, especially one growing freely where it is not wanted, as in a garden or other cultivated ground".

So now perhaps you can see how this relates to people with low self esteem lack of confidence with no belief in themselves and how they feel compared to others in society. They feel they just don’t fit… much of these feelings come from our childhood, we can either live with what is brought upon us or take drastic means to change it. We have a choice… And I chose to challenge my life experiences by living outside the box,. sparring with the best… and I relished it… . hence living my life as a weed made me strong. I rose above them all ( no pun intended) and never choked out a flower.

We all belong in this garden of life, move over flowers, the weed is here to stay.

So I chose the title… as this was my WISH… Whatever  . . .I’m Still Here…

As far back as I can remember I knew something was different. I did not think or react as others and always thought outside the box. So as I grew older I began to think more and more outside the box, which is hard when you work in a structured world, like medicine. I connected with weeds, those strong, intrusive plants that gardeners hate.

I published my first book titled My Life as a WEED… and weeds (words) to live by in January of 2011 through, www.I-proclaim bookstore.com . . . a work in progress for four years after I experienced a life changing health issue. During this time of dealing with the changes that had happened to not only my body but my mind, it was then I realized I was not the only one going through this, there had to be others. I felt I had to get the word out regarding how we are perceived by family,friends and the rest of the world… challenging life issues everyday. I chose the subject weeds to signify what I have observed over the years regarding the comparison and similarities of weeds versus flowers…
