Sports journalist Gabby Logan is on a mission to encourage more open conversations about the menopause. “There was this idea that when your ovaries stopped working you were washed up, which is nonsense. Language and how we frame ageing is so important,” says the 49-year-old former gymnast. “It feels like the menopause is already losing the taboo status it once had.”

Gabby hosts the podcast The Mid·Point about being middle-aged and is the first ambassador for supplement brand Vitabiotics’ Menopace range. Sharing her own midlife challenges is top of her to-do list.
