I live in the beautiful mountains of Virginia on an old retired dairy farm with my wonderful husband of fifteen years and our four amazing and ever changing children. I’m also blessed with one sister who I absolutely adore even though she’s a little nuts sometimes, I still love her! Because I’m a little nuts sometimes too! I feel very blessed to have such an understanding and loving family. I also share our dream log home with three cats, three dogs, one gecko lizard, 10 cows and one goat that has never been touched by a human and probably never will according to my goat man friend named Walter. I’m a full time stay at home mom who wears so many hats that sometimes I don’t even know which hat I have on but, I do love my children and all that they have taught me over the last fifteen years. I love to cook when I have the time but I really hate to clean the kitchen! My favorite things to do are traveling, hiking, practicing Reiki and reading a good romance novel by Beatrice Small. My motto is LOVE GOD ABOVE ALL and GIVE HIM THANKS EVERYDAY FOR ALL THAT HE GIVES! My three favorite sayings in life are GOD IS GREAT, LIFE IS GOOD and now for the silly one “Well Butter My Butt and Call Me a Biscuit Look Who’s Here!” I picked this saying up on a trip to the Deep South. It now hangs on a plaque in my kitchen.

    T his book was written for the sole purpose of helping people like me, who have battled with their weight. All information in this book is based on my own personal experience with my desire to lose weight and become healthy!

    When I started my program, as I call it, I weighed 180 pounds, and at five-foot-four, I was slowly killing myself. My body mass was thirty-one, but with the use my program, I now weigh 130 pounds, and my body mass is twenty-two. It feels great to have lost fifty pounds. I thank God every day for blessing me with the strength and knowledge to lose the weight. Praying to Him for help with weight loss was my very first step. He answered my prayer and guided me all the way and still does to this day! I couldn’t have done it without Him.

    My biggest thanks go out to my OB-GYN and my family doctor, who supported me all the way. Because I had been having some problems, I went to see her. Her news was that the weight on my lower body had caused my uterus to drop. She said, "You need a hysterectomy!"
