    2.0  Sample Answer

    2.1 Introduction

    Mintzberg (2007) defines strategy as a plan which supports an organisation to reach the desired stage to become successful. According to Simpson (1998), term strategy has been adopted from military to enhance the effectiveness and exactness of the business. In the competitive marketplace, the strategy is vital as it supports the organisation to compete with competitors to gain competitive advantage and it ensures the existence of organisation (Hanafizadeh, Rezeai & Ghafouri, 2009; Weigl, 2008; Hanafizadeh & Moayer, 2008). The aim of this report is to conduct a strategic analysis to understand the concept, importance and theories of strategy. In this report, XYZ will be critically analysed to accomplish the aim of this report. Furthermore, the background of the organisation is attached as Appendix B.

    Firstly this report analysis the external and internal environment of XYZ by utilising appropriate frameworks such as Porter’s five forces, PESTEL analysis, Porter’s generic strategy and stakeholder analysis, to achieve the purpose of this report. At the end of this report, the recommendation will be provided to enhance the value creation, and it helps the XYZ
