There were very few people in the office building's ground floor lobby. Megan paused after stepping out of the elevator, dreading the long walk home. She really needed that receptionist job, but it was already filled.

She headed for the entrance. Her heels clattered on the marble floor as she weaved through the few workers heading for the elevators. Lucky bastards.
