About this ebook
Hello,
About one person in five will be confronted by this at least once in their lives...
What do you do when the first symptoms (dizziness, nausea, difficulty breathing) strike and get worse (fear of fainting, loss of muscle tone, the feeling that you're about to die) ?
This workbook presents:
-10 defusion techniques to better manage the onset of a panic attack and prevent its escalation,
-16 preventative exercises that will reduce the number of panic attacks and your anxiety or worry.
This workbook examines only effective, natural methods that you can practice for and by yourself.
Having battled and overcome panic attacks in the past, I'd like to share my experience on the subject with you.
To reduce, get relief, and then say good-bye to your anxiety and panic attacks once and for all, take yourself in hand and follow the exercises and recommendations contained in this book.
Summary:
Part 1: Some necessary psychological considerations (in layman's terms)
Part 2: Defusion techniques – Preventative exercises – Lifestyle changes
Part 3: Application in context (Suggestions on ways to apply the techniques based on a case study)
Good reading and, above all, good practice,

Introduction
Anxiety is an everyday problem for more and more people. Sometimes it may lead to actual panic attacks. I, myself, experienced them for about two years of my life. I know the vicious circle that gradually builds in the life of the anxious person. I also know how to escape from it, and this is what I want to share in this book.
Know that it’s possible to overcome this disability and to live with panic attacks. However, if the attacks occur frequently, and are debilitating, I advise you to get cognitive behavioral therapy. Nevertheless, if they are happening because of a stressful situation in your adult life, the panic attacks are likely to be temporary and completely reversible. This book will help you find the serenity to deal with anxious situations and teach you how to handle them calmly, without panic.
In Part 1, we discuss certain psychological considerations that contribute to the condition of the anxious person. These may be anything from a negative social situation to the efforts needed to break free of it. Then, in Part 2, we examine several techniques to defuse a nascent anxiety attack as well as preventative exercises and essential lifestyle principles which help reduce anxiety in daily life. Finally, in Part 3, we take a deeper look at the evolution of a panic attack by means of a case study in order to expand our knowledge of visualization techniques and how to make best use of the solutions recommended in this book when a dreaded panic attack strikes.
I hope you enjoy reading this book, and take heart, because I know that living with anxiety attacks can be very difficult.
Part 1 : Some necessary psychological considerations
If you bought this book, it's either because you are plagued with panic attacks, or someone dear to you is. Therefore, I won't go into a detailed description of the physical sensations that one can experience during an attack, as you know them all too well, the free press writes about them all the time, and that's enough of that. At best, it will reassure you to know that when you feel as if you are choking, like you are going to pass out or perhaps even die, that it's entirely normal to feel this way during a panic attack. Therefore, it is better that we focus on the psychological dimension without playing the role of psychotherapist.
Anxiety is often
