About this ebook
Diseases are rampant in our world today. People are tired, sluggish, overweight, overmedicated, and under-exercised. The Food and Drug regulatory companies would like us to believe that whatever we eat is okay. That is because they make tons of money on all the overly processed, toxic, chemical-loaded foods they advertise and sell us. We need to get back to good nutrition and good health. That is the key to permanent weight loss.

Eat Your Way to Good Health - Donna Smith
Introduction
Isn’t feeling good what life is really about? No matter what we do or don’t do, eat or don’t eat, isn’t feeling good the goal in life? I used to think I felt real good when I was pigging out on my 3rd piece of birthday cake. Oh yum, I was in Heaven. There was nothing better than this. I loved that buttercream icing. Later I felt like a ton of bricks had hit my stomach. I felt tired, lethargic, sick, full, bloated, constipated, and angry at my lack of self-control. And the scale reflected my binge and made me cringe. What can we do to make ourselves feel good and enjoy our life?
If you have ever struggled with trying to feel better, get more healthy, and even lose weight, (who hasn’t?) and you are fed up, like I am, with all these crazy diets and crazy diet foods out there, and you want to find out how you can truly feel better and lose weight and get healthier, then this is the book for you. I am as real as a person gets. I am not going to try to sell you on some packaged food plan or miraculous weight loss drug. You can buy any of thousands of diet books that tell you all that (and have diets that don’t work). This is not a diet book. This is my own personal experience of what worked for me and what can work for you.
I am not an expert in any field except what is good for my own health and what has worked and does work for me. But I have done much research for myself in books and online about what I am putting into my body. I encourage you to do the same. This book will open your eyes to some new ideas and some powerful information.
I have tried lots of diets, the diet foods and drinks, and all the diet tricks imaginable. The low carb diet made me feel so tired and weak I could not even climb one flight of stairs. I was dragging around all day and night. I also had the worst dry mouth and bad breath. No matter how much water I drank I still had a dry mouth. It was awful. How good can a diet be if you feel like crap all the time? That is not quality of life to me. The packaged foods diets were very expensive and tasted gross! Yes, I lost weight but not because it worked. I lost weight because I starved and did not eat the food, it was tasteless and I did not want to lose all that money I had spent in buying these products. And what about eating Cabbage every day in a soup?
