About this audiobook

Sebastian Black. The broody bad boy. The rockstar God with the most haunting voice I’ve ever heard. And, starting now, my next-door neighbor.

I never thought I’d bump into my teenage crush on campus, but when it happens, any childish illusions I had about him are erased with a few harsh words. I don’t expect to run into him again, but I’m wrong.

He’s at Blairwood to stay, and not just that, he wants me.

Sebastian claims he lost his muse, and I’m the only one who can bring it back, but I want nothing to do with the arrogant man.

That is until he proposes me a deal.

He’ll help me with my bucket list if I play my piano for him. The request is outrageous, but the more I think about it, the harder it is to find reasons to say no.

As we spend time together, I get to know the man hiding beneath the jaded exterior, and suddenly my crush doesn’t seem so childish after all. But there is no way that the world-famous rockstar will fall for a small-town girl like me…

I fell a little more in love with Penelope & Sebastian!

One of the things I LOVED THE MOST was listening to Sebastian fighting with Henry for Penny’s attention ?? I really liked listening THAT disastrous first meeting too? and I enjoyed Sebastian’s obsession with her after that moment even more ??

And I think it’s safe to say that, if you love reading Kiss Me Tenderly as much as I did ☝️, you are going to enjoy immensely listening to this beautiful audiobook ?

?College, rockstar in hiding, bad boy-good girl, bucket list, virgin heroine, slow burn, blind heroine with guide dog, suspense vibes
?TW: alcohol & drug addiction, mention of overdose, bullying & self harm

A big well don to Anna B Doe not only for the lovely story she wrote but even for the way she described how Penelope behaves in her everyday life.
Being a blind person myself I could really see that she has done her research for this book, in order to know so much about how to handle a guide dog and how independent a blind person could be nowadays.
She knew exactly how the voice over on her phone works, the commands to give to a guide dog and even the fact that Penelope was so much independent
that she could even do her make up on her own which in fact is something I do too.
I was very impressed. Good Job Anna B Doe!!
and thanks to this story hopefully more people will be more aware on how to behave around a blind person.

Wonderfully brought to life. The narrators did an amazing job to bring us Penny and Sebastian closer. What a phenomenal touching finale with a strong young woman and a bad boy who is brought down to earth and his knees by her.
Since I first met Penny I wanted to know more about her. And so I was on the edge when I heard she got her story to tell. And what a story it is.
A story to learn, to sigh, to think about and full of tension, chemistry, love and suspenseful vibes. Penelope has us all to rethink some things in life, be grateful, more patient, less judgmental and be humble and kind.
Sebastian has to cross our path once or twice to see that there is more behind his facade than he shows. His past was full of tragedies and he was on a downward spiral that could have ended badly. He pulled the brake.
When he crashes into Penny, it comes at the right time. They need each other without realizing it. He needs her to calm him down in every way and she needs him to come more out of her shell. They complement each other.
What should shut his thoughts out and reanimate his creativity, ended up as something bigger.
Penny learns a lot about a life she couldn’t imagine if she wanted to, and gets a look at the boy she adored as a young girl. Slowly she comes closer to Sebastian and lets him get closer to her.
It is about learning. New lives, other lives and to connect two lives that seem at first to be compatible.
I loved how Sebastian took Penny as she was, not once questioned whether she fit in his life because of her disability. He didn’t mind. He cared for her and took her out of her comfort zone, which was awesome. In turn she gave him strength, self assurance and stability when he needed it.
An unbelievably fascinating and fantastic conclusion for this series. A new kind of character, truly well written and leaving me with tears in my eyes and a story I will be able to forget, nor don’t want to get rid of.

Kiss Me Tenderly by Anna B. Doe.
You guys I read this book when it first came out but I was not prepared to actually listen to it. The narrators did a phenomenal job at bringing the book to live in a different way from when you read it on your own. I mean I still love me a physical book but with narrator s that bring it to live like these do then I’m liking audio more and more. Ok so her is my original review for the book which hello if you have. It got tor read then what have you been waiting for your missing out. This is Penny and Sebastian’s story. I was not ready for this story. I don’t know about you guys but I was not prepared for it to hit so hard however I loved the way the author wrote this story. I absolutely loved Penny throughout other books she was always likable so to get her story was something I was looking forward to. She is such a likable character and also very relatable I wanted to protect her and be her friend through out the entire book. Her disability doesn’t stop her from being an I dependent woman. She is fierce and yet vulnerable. Then we have Bash oh my did I love him. Sure he had his moments where he came off as a bit of a jerk but he sure does redeem himself. I absolutely loved this story and the beauty it was their journey. It is a story I definitely recommend and one you sure don’t want to miss out on.

Reading this was one experience but listening was was like being there with Sebastian and Penelope. Cindy Kay & Tim Paige did an amazing job embodying the persona of their characters.
Cindy Kay was great at keeping Penny, just Penny even after coming face to face with her teenage crush. Her character never sees him as anything more than a man with a talent. She does however gain confidence spending time with Sebastian and definitely becomes more outspoken but she remains true through it all.
Tim Paige in turn is great being the growly somewhat spoiled, overindulged and traumatized rockstar. He does a great job bringing out all the feelings Sebastian goes through, so when Seb luckily recognized he was losing himself when he lost his friend to all the overindulging that comes with fame he walked away.
This will definitely be one I will listen to again.
I have voluntarily left this review.
