Series just keeps getting better. Growth is an important theme in this addition to the series. There's lots of emotional growth going on with Cori here and also with some of the secondary characters.

Okay, so far I am enjoying this series! I really am loving how magic is explained and being told in a more realistic way. Also! I am Hmong and listening to a book with an Asian character that’s not just Korean or Chinese is so cool! I felt so seen as I am part of a group that most people don’t even know about!
