Copied over from my Goodreads review.

I listened to the audiobook (on Scribd, but it GR doesn't give me the option to select the audiobook as having been read). I wanted to try the author's writing without any pressure, so this novella seemed to be a great place to do so. I liked this enough that I'm curious as to how the rest of the series fits in. It's only short (like an hour long), so I got enough of a feel for the author's writing and worldbuilding, without being spoiled anything of the rest of the story this series tells.

Ok, the narration was like an average mum or dad reading the book, not bad but not like a good narrator like Vanessa Moyen but the story itself though very short, is unique and enjoyable.
