I enjoyed the story but not the narration, which seemed like a robot. It was electronically generated?
The tempo of speech was off. The sentences didn't flow or seem natural.

While it was good for action and suspense, it wasn't hard to figure out who the trader was and that they always die in the end, as you can't trust the bad people to keep their word.
Narration wasn't great, but not bad enough to not complete the book.

This was a good story, with twists and turns as expected. The only thing that would have made it better is if the narrator did accents and better character impressions. The author even talked about the accents frequently and yet the narrator did not attempt much except a terrible Jamaican lilt. The story kept me listening, regardless.
