I can’t abide a story that depends on the protagonist making obviously stupid decisions that put her life at risk so she can be saved by the hero. Would you open the door to a stranger when you are hiding from killers and have been clearly informed that no one is to be trusted? Just because the stranger said he was a friend of the hero? I hope not. Very stupid event to move the story along. Disrespectful to the readers as well. I could not get past chapter 8.

I gave 4 stars: story line was ok not dazzling a little too wordy and dragged along also the narrator was good but was kinda irritating at times and didn't pull off the man voices. The author us a good one for sure some of her stories are better than others. All He Wants was more to my liking.

Hero treats heroine like a doormat then internally complains that she is so mean and unkind. I enjoyed the suspense but the romance left a lot to be desired. Hero had a bad habit of grabbing the heroines arm or squeezing her hard in anger. Don’t let let the cover page fool you. This 90’s book doesn’t quite translate to 2023.

Loved it. But towards the end Ivy was a bit annoying she was too stubborn, exaggeratedly so. Loved West. And loved the sex scenes, very spicy and hot.
The narrator was very very good.
Now on to the next one.
