About this audiobook

“Nonstop sexual tension crackles off the page” (Laura Kaye) in the sizzling final installment in the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling Marriage to a Billionaire saga by Jennifer Probst.

Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She’s stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family’s corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary...until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.

Julietta’s been burned before—and trusting her brother-in-law’s friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a- career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

THE MARRIAGE MERGEREditSome times it takes a while to get a book read and reviewed, especially when you find out that said book has predecessors. Call it anal, call it OCD, call it Mom-ness… but I don’t like picking up a book after-the-fact. “The Marriage Merger“, by Jennifer Probst, is the latest (& last?) in the “Marriage to a Billionaire” series: The Marriage Bargain, The Marriage Trap, and The Marriage Mistake (Marriage to a Billionaire). Since I received a free copy of The Marriage Merger in exchange for an HONEST review, I knew I had to do some extra reading once I realized it was a series book. Wow – am I ever glad that I did! I’ll also have another book to add to my TBR pile – on June 30th Jennifer Probst is releasing “The Book of Spells”, a 32 page novella with the love spell used in the Married to a Billionaire series. I mean, c’mon – HOW ADORABLE! I just love those little types of tie-ins!Okay – The Marriage Merger. Fourth daughter needs to find her true love… and after much hassling from her sister(s), she does the love spell. Throw in a meddling, matchmaking Italian mother and some red-hot attraction, and Juliette & Sawyer just really don’t stand a chance. While on the surface this looks like it will be a light-hearted summer beach read, in reality, it is anything but. Juliette is so tightly wound that she’s never been able to have an orgasm with a partner. Sawyer is so damaged from his upbringing in foster care that he doesn’t know how to make true emotional connections with people. Sawyer helps Juliette discover her sexuality while Juliette helps Sawyer learn to be comfortable with people and emotions. They form a tentative family with Sawyer’s 19 year old “protegee” – a kid he rescued off of the streets just as he was rescued off of the streets.Be warned that the sex scenes are explicit and involve some BDSM (light) play where the focus is more on submitting in the bedroom versus submission. This is a great read; Jennifer Probst has done (another) fantastic job of creating flawed characters who are strong enough to love – and in turn, make us love them. This whole series rocked & I highly recommend it!

Copy cat of 50 shades with a weird spell twist. But, I’ve read so many of Probst’s books I completed it. This is the first book of hers I almost put down.

Another great read in this series. The story of Julietta and Sawyer (a very unlikely pair) is warm and compassionate and definitely steamy!! Highly recommended read.

Great ending to this series! I was a little skeptical about this book at first, but Julietta and Sawyer swept me off of my feet by the third chapter. They had some crazy chemistry together and the sex was H-O-T, HOT! I loved Wolfe's character and I thought he brought some new light into what happened to Sawyer and how somebody willing to lend you a hand can change your life. Sad to let this whole Conte family go, but we had our fun!

My favorite in this series of stories by Jennifer Probst! Now is Julietta's and Sawyer's turn at the marriage spell. They are two strong-willed individuals used to controlling their destinies and not backing down. Their love story is wild tango lesson of wills and desires. Absolutely a must read!

There is one thing or someone who is a constant in those books, Mamma Conte, quite a woman; I have to admit she played a key role in the relationships between her children and their lover. Now about Julietta and Sawyer, what can I say, hmm just read the book and you will find out because there is no word that can describe this amazing story, between past and present, between present and future, a book to discover in all those aspects.

I really enjoyed this last book in the series.

It is filled with some angst, but it not overpowering. The characters are likeable and we the readers get to experience their journey to personal growth and self-worth.

Well written and an easy read that me turning the pages. The ending was fantastic. Great conclusion to the series.

I can't believe this is to be the last book in this series. Saving the best for last? For me it was. Once I started and couldn't look away. At the beginning I kept thinking where do I know Sawyer from he sounded so familiar. After he said he was from Vegas I knew who he was right away. He was perfect guy for Julietta. She needed someone to break her from her self-imposed cage and he did that and much more. Little did I know how much Sawyer needed Julietta in return. Beautifully written love story and a perfect ending to a wonderful series. The epilogue did surprise me a little. It was bittersweet.

This book is the fourth in a series about the Conte sisters. Julietta is now running the families La Dolce Famiglia Bakery. When she meets Sawyer Wells who suggests a merger between his hotels and the bakeries, there is an instant attraction. But this is not just a romance novel this is a story with a sub plots that add the finishing touches to this wonderful story, and an excellent series.

The last of this series by Jennifer Probst and this makes me sad. I have read each book with joy and relished each one. I was so excited when the approved from netgalley came for this book for I loved each of the previous books. From the story of Nick and Alexa (love how he went all Mets even though he is a Yankee fan for her) to Michael and Maggie but Max and Carina had me swoon. This one though tops them all. To see two scared and broken souls come together and fight one another to the end was a beautiful thing. Julietta had demons of being a woman in a man’s world, family expectations, her own desires to succeed and the hidden secret that brought her shame. sawyer’s past was his achilles heel. He could help Julietta but not himself and didn’t think anyone could help him.Boy was he wrong. Julietta, the spitfire that she is, tore down his walls and exposed him. Every last boyish scared ounce. In Sawyer and even Wolfe you see the affects that abute and self doubt can have on you. How you can feel unworthy and not know what it means to have love. When a feeling begins to invade you, you shut down and wonder how to deal. For them it was Julietta.Mama Conte was as precious as ever and knew just what they needed- a swift kick in the keister. Yay mama Conte.A wildy entertaining and sexy book. Nick will have you fanning yourself and saying Oh my. So sad to see this series end. I hope she finds a way to continue the stories of each of the Conte adults and their new families.

God, I really wanted to love this book, and I really and truly love the series, but this book didn’t do it for me. I can’t put a finger on any one single thing, so I’ll address what bothered me with it. Mind you, this is only my opinion, and my thoughts. To anyone who wants to get introduced to a great and talented author, please pick up a Jennifer Probst book today. With this book, for some reason the action just seemed to be dragged on and on and on. I found myself skimming through paragraphs at a time or completely loosing track and wondering what I needed to get at the grocery store when my eyes were still moving on the page. Mind you, there were great parts that held my attention, but most of it didn’t do it. I found that it seemed to have a lot of “filler” that just didn’t add to the story.I also found that the hero was a little predictable …One thing that continued to bother me and still does is that I felt as if I had read this story before. I don’t know why, and without giving away key parts of it, there was something about her lack of ability and the way he responded, along with the “bet” that all seemed very familiar to me. I want to say that I have read it before somewhere, but at the moment I’m drawing a blank. And no, I’m not accusing Ms. Probst of anything, but it really does have very strong similarities. (Perhaps it’s a previous published book she’s done?)All in all, while this book didn’t do it for me, the series is great and I wholly recommend you pick them up and read them today! 3.5 out of five stars.

Julietta Cook has been offered an irrestibule offer from Sawyer Wells. A chance for her bakery to work exclusively within his ritzy hotels on their desserts. After losing her last contract, she really needs this but is still hesitant to accept his offer. While the attraction flames between them until they both agree it's best to stay away from each other (as they want two different things as far as relationships go), fate (aka Julietta's mom) intervenes. I did not enjoy this book. I was not attracted to Sawyer and nor a fan of Julietta. The storyline was poor to fan. (Ugh - i hate giving bad reviews!) I just didn't connect or enjoy this novel.I received this book in exchange of an honest review for netgalley.
