Even as long as these books were (Binding 13 and Keeping 13) I desperately didn’t want them to end. What a beautiful universe Chloe Walsh created. Every character was believable. The bitter parts and the evil parts of life were finally redeemed by light, love, and a little bit of heaven. Shannon has the most beautiful soul, and Johnny is the most beautiful keeper of that soul. BTW I absolutely loved the narrators of these books. Especially Matthew Forsythe, whose performance included every vocal nuance imaginable to make it feel as though he really was Johnny, telling his story with all the passion and sorrow and joy with which he lived it. And also, the characters in the book were SO FUNNY sometimes, especially Gibsie and Chloe and Johnny of course. Ten stars. Ten out of five.

    A whirlwind of emotions ?

This book brings Johnny and Shannon's story to a happy ever after, but their road there is paved with tragedy and heartbreak ?

It was an awfully long story and we got to see the MCs on a day to day basis. At one point, it hit a moot point, but then it took off rapidly and I loved every chapter since.

Johnny and Shannon grow together, build their future and prepare for their next adventure. Again, my heart bled for this girl and all her brothers. And again Gibsy was the guffy beacon of hope and humor with his golden retriever energy ?

Absolutely loved this serious and I am so sad it is over. I love how this author wrote the monologues for the characters. I really felt a part of there world for awhile. I laughed with them and felt angry with them. I adore damsels and their hero’s. This is the perfect store for that. And the audio is so well done.

Part 2 was way better than part 1. Part 1 was so hard for me to get through, I would frequently check out while listening. I think it could have been 1/2 the length with just as much relevant info. There is a lot more substance in part 2 so if you're deciding whether or not to finish the book I say do it. If you made it this far it's worth finishing.

Way too long. Could drop 100 pages if they didn't say " hi Shannon like the river " " hi Johnny " every time they saw each other like idiots. I liked the story I just don't think I like the authors writing

Amazing book, but audiobook wasn't the best, the narrators don't flow.
