      Entertaining, but I didn't get why the two main characters were suddenly in love. I might have missed something.

      This is the first Ruby Dixon book Ive listened to that wasn't part of the IPB series and it feels like it easily could fit in that world. All her tropes are there.

      Best book by Ruby Dixon ever!! Crulden is just the sweetest character. Loved every second listening to the story, I also love the fact that this book is connected to the Risdaverse and its previous characters as its the best.
      Can't wait to listen to "worse Guy" the other Crulden clone (only problem is that it does not have an audiobook which is sad).

      I don’t think it would be possible to dislike a Ruby Dixon book!! She’s easily one of my favourite authors!

      I have loved this world she’s created and I loved Mina and Crueldon. Ruby always manages to write in such a way that you feel it! You love as hard as the characters.

      If you’ve not read any Ruby Dixon books, do yourself a favor and start with the Ice Planet Barbarian series. I know, it’s sound silly, but I promise you will love it!! Then the Corsairs, and there’s a bunch more. Don’t sleep on Ruby!

      Love this world that Ruby Dixon has built. This book is a bit of a side story to the Corsairs part of this world. Crulden is a gladiator with issues, Mina is his weakness. Great story and as always an imaginative and well written book. Loved it ???
