This is the fourth book I've read/listened to by this author, and I can't help but wonder if she should be in the young adult genre. I find her writing to be juvenile, predictable, and lacking depth. The plots are wildly unbelievable. Nobody actually speaks in this manner and I find myself rolling my eyes throughout each book. I finish each one, hoping there is an unpredictable twist at the end, but this is never the case. This book was the same, unfortunately. Her books are fast paced and easy to read, as are most YA. They aren't awful for that genre; I just don't care for them in the "psychological thriller" genre. This one in particular was probably the worst I've read of hers as far as predictability. I can't understand the hype. Maybe I've just read too many good books.
