Unless you’re a Buddhist monk in the mountains of Tibet it’s fair to say most lives involve some level of stress. As a mum of three kids, owner of three dogs and a deadline-driven full-time job as a writer, I’m pretty used to managing high stress levels.

I can multitask with the best of them, but when it comes to Jon, my doting husband of 16 years – the eye twitching begins, the nails get bitten and I can feel my blood pressure rising.
