Very cute book , would have given it 4 stars but the over used word squeek and juvenile speech and behavior for a 28 year old woman was a little over the top for me . Other than that it was a feel good cute book .

This was a great rom com feel good! It was silly and cute but I didn't find myself laugh-out-loud-ing as I had hoped. Jess is relatable and charming and down to earth. I liked the pace of the story and the simplicity of it! It was easy to follow and entertaining. A great pick for an easy, distracting love story.

3.5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 because it ended up being just the right kind of book for me during a very tragic period of my life.

I picked it up and sat it back down pretty quickly because it was very insta-lust/insta-love, which isn't my jam.

But I picked it back up again later and was glad I did, because it turned out to be a very gentle, sweet romance, which was exactly what I was needing at the time.

There's no surprises here, and no huge drama or tension....just a very sweet relationship that grows between two people who click from the moment they meet.

If you like a MMC who goes oooon and oooon (in inner monologue) about how crazy he is about the FMC (and I confess I do!) this is a book for you.

If you like your romances to flirt with sexual tension, but stay "clean", this is a book for you.

If you're looking for a light-hearted, feel-good romcom with a dusting of decent humor, this is a book for you.

I'll be looking for more from this author.

I just love how easy it is no complication, no overdramatic plot, where the characters resolve all the issues by talking them out. Plus there are these laugh out loud moments that got me every single time. Totally recommend it, I liked it a lot.
