I read this book before, so I knew what was going to happen. But the narrators did a superb job keeping me invested. I found myself leaning forward, waiting with bated breath to hear what was happening. The story was great. The voice actors were amazing. I hope the rest of the books in this series also get the audiobook treatment.

What a wonderful series. The first one is definitely my favorite but I’m drawn to MM romance more. This is still a wonderful part of the tale and so sad. I definitely had a few tears. Not as much sex in this one I would say. More of their lives. Cant wait for the next story to show up on SCRIBD.

I've read the full Governor series as books but was very excited for the audiobook. It has not disappointed. I've listened to Governor and Lieutenant twice so far and I can't wait for for Chief to round out the trilogy... then maybe the other series set in this world. (NOTE: You can not listen to this book without reading or listening to Governor first. It must be done in order to fully make sense.)
