About this audiobook
""Bellefleur has a droll, distinct voice, and her one-liners zing off the page, striking both the heart and funny bone... There's a sparkling quality here, one that mirrors the starry title. Bellefleur writes as if she's captured fairy lights in a mason jar, twinkly and lovely within something solid yet fragile."" – Entertainment Weekly
Following Written in the Stars and Hang the Moon, Lambda Literary Award winner and national bestselling author Alexandria Bellefleur pens another steamy queer rom-com about former best friends who might be each other's second chance at love…
Margot Cooper doesn’t do relationships. She tried and it blew up in her face, so she’ll stick with casual hookups, thank you very much. But now her entire crew has found ""the one"" and she’s beginning to feel like a fifth wheel. And then fate (the heartless bitch) intervenes. While touring a wedding venue with her engaged friends, Margot comes face-to-face with Olivia Grant—her childhood friend, her first love, her first… well, everything. It’s been ten years, but the moment they lock eyes, Margot’s cold, dead heart thumps in her chest.
Olivia must be hallucinating. In the decade since she last saw Margot, her life hasn’t gone exactly as planned. At almost thirty, she’s been married... and divorced. However, a wedding planner job in Seattle means a fresh start and a chance to follow her dreams. Never in a million years did she expect her important new client’s Best Woman would be the one that got away.
When a series of unfortunate events leaves Olivia without a place to stay, Margot offers up her spare room because she’s a Very Good Person. Obviously. It has nothing to do with the fact that Olivia is as beautiful as ever and the sparks between them still make Margot tingle. As they spend time in close quarters, Margot starts to question her no-strings stance. Olivia is everything she’s ever wanted, but Margot let her in once and it ended in disaster. Will history repeat itself or should she count her lucky stars that she gets a second chance with her first love?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it!! Wish it was made into a movie also
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Of the two I've read out of this series, this is the better of the two.... but I still struggle with the characters and their issues.... Margot is extremely jealous and has some serious abandonment issues…. It makes her rather palatable…. I feel like she should have a firm grasp on her baggage and be honestly making amends on it much sooner than the end of the book. Sex scenes were pretty steamy, and overall much better than book 1… but still not enough for me to really like this one.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was soooo cute and sexy!! I loved to see these characters again! I didn’t click with Margo in Written in the stars but in this one she became my favorite character ?!<3
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Well written and believable characters. The story in the 4th chapter had me shaking with laughter! And ya’ll …chapter ten - whew! ? ??♈️❤️??
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/53.5 stars. Olivia is an event planner who has worked hard to be where she is. Her boss has given her the wedding planner opportunity of a lifetime. When she meets the bride and groom and their wedding party. She runs into who used to be her best friend. Could this ignite some unfinished business?? Could be. This is a sweet fun story of bad communication and second chances.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was sweet and I enjoyed a well thought out plot.
I loved that it wasn’t drawn out. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really cute and heartwarming story! Margot and Olivia's relationship was a little complicated due to miscommunication, but everything turned out satisfactory. (Plus Elle and Darcy have some bg protagonism but they were still sweet as hell! Also the voice actor make such a beautiful work on every of these novels! I loved it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good sex and good laughs. I couldn't stop listening and finished at 2 am.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved this one. I skipped the middle book about Brenden, because… I find him a little insufferable and I was too excited to read this one, but I’ll probably go back and read it soon. I adored both Margo and Olivia and I liked their dynamic a lot. Usually, so much miscommunication and lack of talking about issues would grate on me in a romance, but that was kind of the whole point and one of the main cruxes of their issues—and it didn’t bother me here. These girls didn’t talk well enough when they were 18, and this is the after affects of how that got pulled into their adult relationships. This was a great (final?) book in this little universe and it was lovely to see the friendship dynamics expand from the earlier books. This is an author that I’ll probably check out pretty much everything from from now on, is they stay like this and her first one.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I think this may be my favorite of the trilogy. It was so so good
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a lovely queer romance with wonderful characters. I especially loved that an eyeliner girl finally admitted how hard those everyday cat eyes are. This was an incredibly hot, poignantly real story of romance.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Margot is shocked to learn that her friend's wedding planner is her high school crush. After a brief fling, Olivia went back to her boyfriend, breaking Margot's heart. When Olivia suddenly finds herself homeless, Margot invites her to move in. Can they remain just roommates, or will history repeat itself?
This is a fun, emotional, steamy read with a ton of unresolved tension between the heroines. It's fairly long angst, with the main obstacles being past misunderstandings. The characters from the previous books in the series make a strong showing in this novel as well. If you like sapphic romance with a little humor and a lot of heat, this book is a good choice.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Lauren Sweet as narrator made this adorable, sweetly stupid romance such a fun, heart throbbing listen. I loved book one but skipped book two and didn’t miss a beat.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Cute and sometimes steamy. Olivia and Margot were best friends in high school. A romantic interlude ended badly when Olivia got back together with her boyfriend Brad. Both thought their romantic week meant something strong but neither said anything.Eleven years later, Olivia is a event/wedding planner and in planning the wedding of Margot's best friend and his fiancee. They meet and sparks fly. Will the sparks ignite? Read and find out.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The couple of this book were childhood friends-turned-to-lovers but the relationship soured when one of them married another person. The two reunited after one of them became the wedding planner of the other's friends' wedding after ten long years apart. Things has changed for both of them, and they ended up becoming roommates after unforeseen circumstances left one of them homeless. At this new environment, the two must face what drove them apart before they can walk towards a future together. This is the last book in the Written in the Stars series. Featuring the snarky friend from the previous two books as a main character of this book, this contemporary romantic story is about second chances for childhood friends-turned-roommates living in Seattle. The love interest has her life changed ever since she took that step that takes her away from her best friend. I enjoyed the secondary characters as they give the story some depth and entertainment. However, the romantic connection of the main couple didn't make that huge impression that the other couples from the previous books gave me. Therefore, this is my least favorite book in the series. But I still enjoyed the author's writing style and I'm still looking forward to reading future books from the author.**Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the review copy. All opinions and thoughts in the review are my own.**
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Of the three books in this series, I enjoyed this one the most, although I was a little disappointed Margot had to give up on her polyamorous, somewhat hedonistic lifestyle and instead find true love.
