      It was a nice short and sweet story with just enough heat. I had to laugh about the cucumber. The author's note was a bit heat wrenching.

      Love the series and the heat level is great. Keep it up.

      More plot would have made me care about the characters. While I appreciated the fact that the heroine was on the plump side, the extent to which it was emphasized made it practically the main focus of the book, which, to me at least, had the opposite of the intended effect. First novella, apparently, so it’s understandable. Her others are better.
